Apply a thin, even film of Wood & Cork Floor Polish satin undiluted to the thoroughly cleaned floor using the Polish Applicator System or a non-felting, wide-headed wiper mop. Should a shinier surface be required, repeat the application at right-angles to the first once the protective film has dried sufficiently to be walked on. Allow the floor surface to dry for at least 12 hours before use but ideally overnight.

The protection of the floor is maintained if Wood & Cork Floor Polish satin is applied at regular intervals following a thorough cleaning. The care cycle should be adapted in accordance with the amount of wear and tear to which the floor is subjected and can be taken from the following table:

• Floors subjected to low levels of wear and tear (e.g., in living rooms and bedrooms, offices not open to the public) once or twice per year.
• Floors subjected to medium-to-high levels of wear and tear (e.g., in corridors, on staircases, in offices open to the public) approximately every 3 to 6 months as required, in areas subjected to extreme wear and tear even more frequently.
• Floors subjected to extreme wear and tear (e.g., in restaurants and pubs, shops, department stores, schools and for dance floors) every 4 to 8 weeks, in areas subjected to even more extreme wear and tear even more frequently.

NOTES:

Wood & Cork Floor Polish satin reinforces the floor's natural grain and deepens its colour. If there is any doubt, test previously in an inconspicuous area. When applying the product, avoid strong sunlight and drafts. Turn off under-floor central heating before commencing work.For Beech, Maple, or other woods that are sensitive to moisture we recommend using Click Sealer.
