Outdoor Wood Refresher

Intensive cleaning agent for all hardwood surfaces which have turned grey. Good adhesion and virtually non-drip. Quickly freshens up all wooden surfaces which have turned grey. Wood regains its natural colour.

Application Clear any dust and coarse dirt from the surface, using a broom or soft cloth. Moisten the wood surface with clear water beforehand. Apply the wood refresher generously onto the surface, using a brush (synthetic bristles without any metal parts), or a roller, then leaving at least 10 mins. for it to soak in. Finally, with any remaining product touch up directly along the wood fibres with an abrasive fleece (e.g. a sponge with white pad, or a coarse scrubbing brush). Keep rinsing the abrasive fleece, or scrubbing brush in water. After cleaning, rinse the surface thoroughly with water (e.g. with a garden hose). In the case of very stubborn stains, or heavily soiled surfaces, repeat the treatment and allow the wood refresher to soak in for longer. After drying, use a care product to protect the wood surfaces anew, e.g. Terrace oil, or Bankirai oil. PLEASE NOTE: Protect sensitive bordering surfaces from splashes, e.g. with protective foil. Avoid contact with metal during application, as far as possible use brushes bound with plastic, or with synthetic bristles. For cleaning purposes, never use a high-pressure hose, or hard sandpaper, because this roughens the surface, which means the natural wax and oil ingredients stay on the top and are weathered away, while the wood becomes more sensitive to dirt and water. In order to remove stains and discoloration, and to achieve a smooth surface, sand the wood with very fine sandpaper (400 grain) by hand. If a mechanical sander is used, heat is produced which can lead to black indentations forming. Remove sanding dust with a moist cloth. CONSUMPTION: approx. 150-200 gm/sq.m. When working with the product, always wear suitable protective gloves and goggles/face protection. Only use in well-ventilated areas. Store Outdoor Wood Refresher in closed original container, in a cool and dry place. Keep the container sealed and out of the reach of children.
